Case of rape registered against Lenin Karuppan after directions from Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka
On 11 March 2013, Cr. No. 0077/2013 was registered against Mr. Lenin Karuppan in the case filed by Ms. A. Pushpa for various offences under Sections 511, 506, 376, 384,342, 354 of IPC, and Section 3(10) of the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The case was registered after the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka directed the police to do proper investigation in the case.

NO BAIL FOR LENIN IN NITHYANANDA BLACKMAIL CASE

 

2 May 2012, Chennai: Lenin Karuppan, key accused in the March 2010 conspiracy against Paramahamsa Nithyananda, was today denied bail by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in the extortion and blackmail case filed against him by one of the administrators of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam.
