AYYARE Movie news update:

UPDATE as on 18 July 2011 - Through a strong court order on 18 July-2011, the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh ordered the Andhra Pradesh Film Censor Board and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting not to certify the Telugu film AYYARE for exhibition without considering Nithyananda counsel's objections to it. The Telugu film AYYARE has reportedly employed morphed visuals of Nithyananda and dialogues deliberately aimed at portraying him in poor light. A copy of the order will be posted shortly.

Earlier, the court had passed an interim injunction order to the Censor Board on 31-Jan-2011, not to grant any certification to the defamatory film AYYARE. Thereafter counters were filed by the Government, producer, director and the lead Actor Rajendra Prasad after which the matter was posted for orders on the 18th of July 2011.
