Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Bidadi

On 17 February 2015, the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri was celebrated at Nithyananda Dhyanapeeta, Bidadi, attended by thousands of people, and at thousands of Nithyananda ashrams and centers worldwide. On this day, Lord Shiva appeared in the form of Lingodbhava - infinite column of light. This auspicious night of Mahashivaratri is said to be very significant in the worship of Lord Shiva as He showers the highest grace and prosperity on the devotee worshipping Him.

The day and night-long traditional celebrations included a grand Mahasatsang with the “Kundalini Dhyan” process awakening the latent energy inside everyone, abhishekam to the 21 feet Ananda linga by Paramahamsa Nithyananda accompanied by abhishekam to the 1008 Shiva lingas around it, abhishekams at the temple to the ancient swayambhu (Self-formed) linga, traditional rathotsavam (chariot procession of the deities of Nithyanandeshwara-Nithyanandeshwari and guru) , and individual blessings and darshan of Paramahamsa Nithyananda for all the visitors.

Attached are pictures of the celebrations as well as the press release translations in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
