TRANSLATION
Having hardened the thighs like steel, and placing both the legs on the sides of the anus is called Vajrasana, which gives great extraordinary powers.
TECHNIQUE
- With knees, ankles and big toes touching the ground, stand on a kneeling position
- Sit erect with the heels under your buttocks
- Erect in this asana 30 seconds

TRANSLATION
One should exhale with the mantra “ham” and inhale with the mantra “saha” .
TECHNIQUE
- Inhale along with the internal chanting of the mantra “sam”
- Hold as long as you can judiciously
- While holding the breath, slowly chant the mantra “soham” internally
- Exhale with the internal chanting of the mantra “ham”
- Do this continuously for 11 minutes

TRANSLATION
After exhaling one should hold the breath outside without inhaling the air and should contemplate on the internal moon and suck mentally the nectar oozing out of it.
TECHNIQUE
- Exhale completely
- Hold the breath outside as long as you can
- Now visualise the moon on the head
- Visualise nectar oozing out of the moon and healing the kidneys
- When you cant hold the breath outside, slowly inhale
- Do this 21 times

TRANSLATION-cum-TECHNIQUE
- Inhale completely along with a humming sound
- Without using the fingers to close the nose retain the breath inside as long as you can
- When you can't hold more, release the breath through the nostrils without humming
- Repeat this 21 times
