SHANKARACHARYA ACQUITTAL – VICTORY FOR HINDU DHARMA

The honorable Shankaracharya of Kanchi has proved himself a true Hindu by remaining untouched by the false accusations and abuse heaped on him, and coming out victorious! Both the Shankaracharyas have faced and survived untold abuse. This verdict is a victory for Hinduism worldwide!’, said His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, speaking on the occasion of the acquittal of the Kanchi pontiff after ten years following a false murder charge foisted on him.

Paramahamsa Nithyananda, who is the Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Peeth (the oldest apex body of Hinduism), is recognized today as a clear, legitimate, apolitical voice of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. A powerful campaigner for the religious rights of Hindus, Paramahamsa Nithyananda was himself the target of false charges in 2010. Hinduism, a beleaguered religion in the country of its birth, has a long history of abuse of its spiritual leaders by foreign invaders and vested interests.
