Ujjain

Bhandaras are the traditional food sharing festivals of the Vedic tradition. These are events where food is shared in generously with all the sadhus who visit the campus of the organizers. A traditional baithak happens before the samasti bhandara where all the Mahamandaleshwars and Sri Mahants of the akhada gather together and discuss the matters relating to the akhada, what decisions need to be taken and their future action plans.

On 5th May, 2016, Nithyananda Sangha invited the Mahanirvani Akhada for a bhandara to the Nithyananda Peetham Camp in Ujjain. Before the bhandara, during the baithak, many of the Mahamandaleshwars and Sri Mahants of the Akhada gathered in the temple in the Nithyananda Peetham camp, where many of the sadhus took selfies with Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Paramahamsa Nithyananda generously allowed everyone to take selfies with him while waiting for all the sannyasis to gather. The guests were given a guided tour of the entire temple area, and they had darshan of the 108 deities of Nithyananda Peetham which have been brought to Ujjain from the worldwide Nithyananda temples.

But the biggest crowd attraction was the demonstration of the power of an awakened third eye! The Balansants of the Nithyananda Gurukul and adults whose third eyes are awakened by Paramahamsa Nithyananda demonstrated how one can read with blindfolded eyes. All the guests were very amazed by the power expressed by the kids and and adults. Some of the kids can even read languages they don’t know!

The baithak concluded with a short discussion between all the guests, culminating in the main samasti bhandara. More than a thousand sadhus of the Mahanirvani Akhada took part in the bhandara.
