Panguni Utharam is the day in the month of March-April when the masculine energy and feminine energy in the Cosmos become in tune with each other. On the day of Panguni Utharam, Lord Subrahmanya married Devasena, the daughter of Indra. On this  day it is said that Rama married Sita. In Srirangam, Lord Ranganatha and Ranganayaki give darshan together only on this day. In Arunachaleshwra temple, Tiruvannmalai, Arunachaleshwara ties the sacred knot around the neck of Devi.

On this rare day in a year when the Cosmos celebrates the union of Shiva & Shakti, In Nithyanandeshwara Temple, Bidadi, there will be a special puja to Lord Subrahmanya.

By offering puja to Subrahmanya on this day, devotees experience fulfilment in family life and marital relationships.
