Karnataka High Court grants stay on medical test of Nithyananda
Disciples successfully challenge allegations of illegal detention and stick to spiritual path
The Central District Court of California, USA, has cleared Nithyananda Foundation of nine false charges in a civil suit filed against the Foundation by a real-estate agent Popatlal Savla.
Referring to the persistent smear campaign being carried on by some media against Hindu spiritual guru Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik said that it is wrong for these media to be tarnishing his image, as Nithyananda has not been proven guilty by law.

 

2 May 2012, Chennai: Lenin Karuppan, key accused in the March 2010 conspiracy against Paramahamsa Nithyananda, was today denied bail by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in the extortion and blackmail case filed against him by one of the administrators of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam.

On 2nd April 2012, a Bangalore City Civil Court passed an injunction order on 9 Bangalore Television news channels including TV9, Survarna 24x7, Kasthuri, Udaya, Janashri, Public TV, E TV, Samaya 24x7 and News 9 restraining them from exhibiting, broadcasting or telecasting of programmes, reports, clippings or visuals referring to Nithyananda in any false or derogatory manner.
The Madras High Court today rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Lenin Karuppan and his brother Kumar in connection with the complaint lodged by Sri Nithya Atma Prabhananda with charges of extortion, criminal intimidation amongst other charges related to the creation and distribution of the morphed video in order to defame Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
The Hon’ble City Civil Court in Karanataka, presided by Additional Civil And Sessions Judge, Sri Aswath Narayana has this afternoon ordered that the so called Telugu film, ‘Swami Sathyananda’ as well as every other version of the Kannada film, ‘Sathyananda’ shall not be promoted, released or exhibited in any manner. The matter has been adjourned to 2-Dec-2011.
4 Nov 2011: The Chennai Sessions Court today denied anticipatory bail for Sun TV COO Hansraj Saxena in the complaint filed by actress Ranjitha. Sun TV aired a morphed video involving actress Ranjitha in a sordid conspiracy to defame Paramahamsa Nithyananda on 2 March 2010. Saxena was earlier arrested and kept in prison for a separate complaint filed by Sri Nithya Atmaprabhananda, follower and manager of Nithyananda for similar charges. He was later granted bail.
